Unwelcome for a reason

August 17, 2008, 12:15 PM
Officers came to the 1200 block of Maple on reports of a man with a gun.  A man on the block told police he had told a young relative to get his things out of the house, or they would be moved to the garage.  The younger man verbally abused the older, then reportedly pointed a black semiautomatic handgun at him and threatened to shoot.  He fled when the victim called 911.

The offender was stopped in the 1500 block of Harlem in Forest Park, and initially claimed to be “Anthony Jones”, giving a 1400 block of Harvey address.  His fingerprints, however, showed he was in fact Corey S. Fonville.  The gun was not found on him.  Fonville, 18, was charged with aggravated assault.
