Revoked and suspended licenses get truck, SUV impounded

May 17, 2008, 3:47 PM
A black Chevy pickup truck was pulled over for improper lane use at 31st and East.  Driver Constantino S. Rodriguez, 51, of Cicero, was cited for that as well as for driving without insurance and on a revoked license; the truck was impounded.

Police in the 1900 block of Highland stopped a black Lincoln Navigator because of its tinted windows.  Driver Miguel Ochoa, 25, of the 1600 block of Ridgeland, also wore no seat belt.  His license was suspended, so the truck was impounded.  Because of the strong odor of marijuana inside the SUV, a K-9 officer checked it; the dog alerted positively for the presence of only trace amounts on the front floorboards.
