Wrong way with open beer

An officer in the 2100 block of Cuyler stopped a Mazda Protege for traveling southbound on the one-way northbound street. A partially-drunk can of Modelo beer was visible in the driver-side cup holder. Driver Elias Lascano, 45, of Cicero, was cited for wrong way driving and illegal transportation of open alcohol; the latter offense meant the car had to be impounded.
