Berwyn Police Blotter
Woman seeks protection from scary ex
May 17, 2007, 4:20 PM
An 18-year-old Berwyn woman told police her ex-boyfriend, a Chicago man, called her place of work at least ten times earlier in the day, although they broke up over two weeks ago. When she answered one of the calls, she says the ex told her he had seen her pull into the parking lot with another man, and that he should have pulled the man out of the car and beaten him up. He ended by threatening her. The woman feared for her safety. A check of the man’s rap sheet showed an extensive criminal history. He is also wanted in Wisconsin for parole violation related to a battery conviction. Police told the woman how to get an order of protection.
