Berwyn Police Blotter
Woman injured by flying barstool
June 29, 2008, 2 AM
Bouncers at Windsor lounge, 6814 Windsor, called police to report a fight on the dance floor. A responding officer saw a 21-year-old Chicago woman walk out of the bar holding the top of her head, from which blood dripped. She said she was hit in the head with a barstool. Her husband told police the offender was walking eastbound on Windsor dressed in a white T-shirt and a straw hat. Police saw two men, one of whom matched that description, and took the suspect into custody. He was positively identified by the bouncers as the stool-thrower. Jacques P. Rivera, 25, of the 1400 block of Clinton, was charged with battery.
