Woman finds husband in tavern, socks him, takes off with phone

September 14, 2007, 6:49 PM
A bartender from a tavern in the 6800 block of 16th called to report a domestic battery.  The victim, a 32-year-old man living in the 3100 block of Oak Park, told officers his wife—who lives in the 1800 block of Kenilworth—walked up to him in the bar, punched him in the face, stole his Razr phone and left the scene.  The bartender agreed with his story.  Police went to the Kenilworth address and arrested the woman, who was charged with one count of domestic battery.
