Woman accused of hairpulling, shoving baby-holding woman down stairs

November 7, 2008, 8:18 PM
A disturbance call brought police to 1414 Elmwood, where two women and a man were on the front lawn.  A 21-year-old Lyons woman told police she came to her ex-boyfriend’s house* to pick up diapers for their son.  While she was inside the house, 19-year-old Karla N. Reyna, 3641 53rd Ct, Cicero, entered as well.  The victim and the ex-boyfriend were downstairs; as the victim—with her child in her arms—tried to pass Reyna on the stairs, Reyna allegedly struck the victim, causing her to fall down the stairs.  The victim said Reyna then pulled out a fistful of her hair. Reyna was charged with battery.
