WEDGE mission nets wanted Chicagoan

March 13, 2008, 9:51 PM
During a WEDGE (West Suburban Directed Gang Enforcement) task force mission, police stopped a man at 26th and Ridgeland because of unspecified suspicious activity.  He was arrested and processed after police learned that Juan C. Carmona, Jr., 23, of the 900 block of west 18th Place, Chicago, was wanted by Cook County for aggravated battery. Got a tip about gang crime? Call WEDGE at 708-780-5277 and leave a detailed message.
