Weapons, 100 live rounds found in home of man arrest for impersonating a cop

April 16, 2008, 9:34 PM
Berwyn police assisted Elmhurst detectives in an arrest in the 1600 block of Oak Park Avenue.  Michael O. Wallace of that block was arrested for “impersonating a cop.” Elmhurst detectives recovered two weapons, including a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver, and 100 live rounds of ammunition, the latter two items found in a locked safe in the home.  Neither gun was registered; Wallace’s firearms owner’s ID had been revoked.
