Berwyn Police Blotter

Wanted man caught in Berwyn traffic stop

May 3, 2007, 12:28 AM
A blue 2005 Scion passed through the flashing red light at Cermak and Wisconsin without stopping, as a police officer watched.  He stopped the driver, 24-year-old Jose Martinez of Cicero, who could not show a driver’s license.  A name check showed that this was because he didn’t have one to show, and also that he had an active arrest warrant out of DuPage County. He was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control device and driving without license and insurance; he was held for DuPage County.
