Berwyn Police Blotter

Wanted for drug possession

June 29, 2008, late
An officer responding to a call about a disturbance in the 1800 block of Harlem alley saw no disturbance, but did see a 19-year-old woman who said her brother had caused a problem at her home on the block and was asked to leave.  She said he fled at the sight of police.  A check of the man’s name revealed an active no-bond arrest warrant out of Cook County for possession of a controlled substance.  Police caught sight of the man in the cemetery west of the 1800 block of Harlem, but lost him.  When the officer returned to the young woman’s address, the man was seen standing out front.  After another foot chase, police arrested Anthony J. Arnone, 21, of Cicero, and processed him for the warrant.
