Wanted Berwyn resident arrested for theft in Oak Park

Anthony T. Johnson, 47, of 2115 S. Kenilworth, Berwyn, was arrested at 8:17 a.m. Oct. 8 on the 500 block of South Oak Park Avenue and charged with theft and possession of a stolen credit card after he was allegedly seen trying to take mail from a U.S. Postal Service mailbox on the 700 block of South Oak Park Avenue. After he was arrested, police discovered he was also wanted on a Cook County Sheriff’s Police Department warrant for forgery.
