Berwyn Police Blotter

Video store manager describes suspicious non-shopper to police

September 22, 2007, 5:26 PM
The manager of Blockbuster Video, 7122 Ogden, called police to report a suspicious person.  A man came in and walked around the store for five minutes, and appeared not the be shopping but casing the joint.  The man walked out; the manager watched as he crossed Ogden to the White Castle parking lot.  There, the man entered a black Ford Taurus occupied by two men and one woman.  The car drove away north on Harlem.  The manager telephoned neighboring Blockbusters with a description of the suspicious person: a tall, stocky, black male, wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
