Victims say woman fled after threatening them with knife, Mace
October 3, 2008, 2:55 PM
That’s the spray kind, not the medieval kind. Police came to the 1600 block of Gunderson after a 911 call reported a woman threatening somone with a knife in front of a residence. A 35-year-old man told police he was home talking on his cell phone to a 35-year-old woman, who was on her way to his address. But the call was overheard by the man’s 33-year-old sister, who apparently overheard some comments about herself to which she took exception. As the 35-year-old woman pulled up in her car, she was met outside by the sister, who held a knife in one hand and Mace in the other. The offender reportedly yelled and threatened the man, getting within two to three feet of him while holding the weapons. According to the man, “I thought I was going to get cut”. When the 35-year-old woman approached the offender, the offender raised the knife over her head as if to stab the woman. The offender was not at the scene when police arrived. Both victims signed complaints against Ericka Gordon, 33, whose address is the same as that of the victims. When police ran Gordon’s name, they learned she was listed as the offender in a few other crimes in Berwyn.
