Vestibule vagrant takes a swing at building resident

April 15, 2007, 10:35 PM
A 57-year-old man living in an apartment near 23rd and Gunderson was about to air his dog before bed when he found a man lying asleep in the building’s common vestibule.  When the dogwalker asked what he was doing, the man jumped up and tried to hit him. The dogwalker pushed the stranger away, causing him to break some glass by falling against a door.  The vestibule-blocker was charged with one count of criminal damage to property.
