Urine trouble now

A caller told police a drunken man had urinated on a chain link fence on the east side of Irving Elementary School, then staggered away southbound on Kenilworth. Police located a man matching the witness description in a liquor store on Ogden, and escorted him outside. Police said Steven A. Derkits, 25, of the 3500 block of Clinton, admitted he had urinated on a building somewhere on Kenilworth; according to the report, he had a strong alcohol odor on his breath and appeared to have urinated on his pants. Derkits was charged with disorderly conduct and his parole officer was advised of the arrest.
