Berwyn Police Blotter

Two blown stops

May 2, 2008, 9:28 AM
Two Cook County Sheriff’s deputies in an unmarked squad car saw a beige Toyota Camry, northbound on East, blow through the stop sign at 18th.  When the deputies tried to pull it over, the Camry continued eastbound on 18th, then south onto Scoville, disregarding a second stop sign in the process and nearly striking the squad car.  Driver Oleg Sydorenko, 24, of the 1800 block of Scoville, was charged with two counts of disregarding posted stop signs.
