June 20, 2008, 6:03 PM
Police in the 3600 block of Wenonah found a black 1976 Chevy pickup up on the grass and in contact with two unoccupied parked vehicles.  The driver appeared intoxicated; he failed a couple of field sobriety tests and refused to do a third.  Police cited David W. Verner, 22, of the 1800 block of Euclid, with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane use, tire squealing, and driving without his license on his person.
