Train’s 40-minute sit gets railroad charged with safety violation

Police made a criminal complaint against Burlington Northern Railroad after a freight train stopped for 40 minutes at 26th St, 20 feet east of Harlem, stalling traffic. The gates were down for that 40 minutes.  Police were alerted by calls about cars driving around the gates.
