Too tired to drive

Police stopped a purple and white Dodge van at East and 16th for doing 35 MPH in a 20 MPH zone. Driver Manuel A. Guzman, 42, of the 1400 block of Gunderson, was neither licensed nor insured. His wife, a passenger, was properly licensed. When the officer asked the 36-year-old woman why she was not the one driving, since she was the only one licensed, she said, “I was tired”. Manuel Guzman was charged with speeding and with driving unlicensed and uninsured. Maria A. Guzman was charged with permitting an unauthorized person to drive.
