Police in the 1900 block of Cuyler stopped a white Ford Contour with no front license plate.  Driver Chico Thomas, 20, of the 2100 block of south Michigan, Chicago, was cited for that, driving uninsured, suspended registration and driving despite a suspended license.  The Ford was impounded.

Because of citizen complaints about drivers ignoring the stop signs at 35th and Cuyler, police kept an eye on the intersection and didn’t have long to wait.  An officer saw a blue Lincoln Navigator which did not come to a complete stop at the sign.  Driver Arturo Haro, 37, of the 3400 block of Cuyler, told police he had no license.  The computer check, however, revealed he had one, but it had been suspended since 2003.  He was cited for both offenses; the Navigator was impounded.
