Three more $500 noise fines collected

A 2001 4-door Kia, stopped by police in the 7000 block of Cermak, was impounded for violating the noise ordinance. The $500 ticket was awarded to a 23-year-old man from the 1900 block of Gunderson. In the same location, another Berwyn man was relieved of his 2000 Jeep Cherokee for the same offense; the ticket went to another 23-year-old man, from the 3700 block of Highland. And a red Neon was stopped for driving while loud at Cermak and Home. The driver, Jesus H. Haro of Milwaukee, told police it was his cousin’s car, which did not prevent the Neon being towed and the fine imposed.
