Berwyn Police Blotter
Teen curfew stop turns up bag of weed
May 11, 2007, 1:43 AM
Police stopped a boy at 26th and East because he appeared to be underage and out after curfew. He turned out to be a 17-year-old resident of the 2500 block of East. While being patted down for officer safety, the boy blurted, “I have some weed in this pocket.” His right rear pocket did indeed contain a bag of marijuana: .5 gm, for which he received a $50 possession ticket.
