Berwyn Police Blotter

Street fight draws blood, not complaints

June 29, 2008, 1:21 AM
Police were dispatched on reports of a fight in the street at Oak Park Ave. and 21st.  An officer saw two men dressed in white T-shirts walking northward on Oak Park from 21st; one man was bleeding from the head, so an ambulance was summoned.  The victim, an 18-year-old man from the 1300 block of Home, appeared highly agitated and refused to cooperate with police in identifying or locating the offender.  The second man, an 18-year-old from the 1900 block of Oak Park, told police the two had been at a party—he would not say where—when a man known to them only as “D” beat up the victim over some girl.  The victim refused to sign a complaint.
