Stop sign disregard reveals revoked license
May 30, 2008, 1:38 PM
The squad car of an officer at Ridgeland and 15th was nearly struck by a Ford Crown Victoria when the Ford failed to stop at the posted stop sign there. Driver Teresa Walls, 49, of the 1300 block of north Laramie, Chicago, was unable to show a license or proof of insurance. A check of her name revealed her license was revoked. The car was impounded, and Walls was cited for driving while her license was revoked, no insurance, and blowing the stop sign.
