Stickney woman charged after accident

A witness to an accident at Ogden and Home told police he heard a loud crash, went outside and saw a vehicle up on the sidewalk with a woman standing next to it. The witness went inside to call police; when he returned, the woman was gone. Police located a woman matching the man’s description; she was positively identified as the one he saw after the crash. Danielle N. Winters, 22, of the 4100 block of Oak Park, Stickney, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and driving without insurance.
