Shoe theft thwarted

Store security from Shoe Carnival in Cermak Plaza called to report they had detained a woman who entered the store, stuck a pair of black Reeboks under her shirt, paid for a second pair of shoes at the register while the first pair remained concealed, then tried to walk out. Chatara T. Robinson, 19, of Summit, was charged with retail theft.
