School’s out: wanted man acts suspicious on a nearby corner

September 19, 2007, 2:54 PM
Officers monitoring school dismissal time noticed a man at Vacin and Clinton who continually looked around him in a suspicious manner.  He looked at police, began to walk away, then kept looking back at them.  Police stopped the man, who identified himself as Larry Sims, 32, of the 6900 block of 19th.  Sims had two active warrants, one from the Cook County Sheriff and the other from the Montana Department of Corrections.  Sims was processed for the Cook warrant, and Montana was notified; he is to be extradited on the no-bond Montana warrant.
