Berwyn Police Blotter

Rock-throwing, gang graffiti, and a business slow to clean off the scribbles

September 24, 2008, 6:58 AM
Someone threw rocks at a Volkswagen in the 1800 block of Kenilworth, denting it.  Local children were seen throwing rocks in the street the previous day.
8:05 AM
Police issued a local ordinance ticket to a business at 6735 Cermak.  The building had graffiti; the city sent a letter giving the business seven days to remove the graffiti, but that never happened. Still there.
9:58 AM
Gang graffiti and symbols of various street gangs were found on four garage doors in the 2300 block of Highland/Cuyler.
