Berwyn Police Blotter

Punch a security guard, visit our jail!

April 17, 2008, 3:06 AM
A MacNeal Hospital security guard told police he had asked a 34-year-old man to leave the hospital’s lobby, but the man refused.  Cops gave it a go, but the man only responded, “F@#$ you!” An officer advised the man that, if he did not leave, he could be charged with criminal trespass.  The man said nothing and began to roll a cigarette, until the guard moved the cigarette package away from him.  At that, the man stood up and punched the guard in the face, right in front of police.  Robert Hull, of the 1300 block of Ridgeland, was arrested and charged with battery and criminal trespass.
