Pregnant woman reports battery

An 18-year-old woman met with police at Roosevelt and Ridgeland. She told them she has been living with her 20-year-old boyfriend in the 1200 block of Ridgeland and is pregnant. Today, the woman said, he grabbed her by the neck and pushed her to the floor. At 1:30 PM, the man turned himself in at the police station and was charged with domestic battery.
