Pot-scented juvenile

A caller reported someone smoking marijuana in the 1900 block of Grove. The officer located the 15-year-old boy—resident of the 1800 block of Oak Park—sitting on the north-side exterior stairs of a building, smelling of marijuana smoke. No cannabis was found on him, but the boy told police he had smoked some earlier. He was advised against the practice and given into his father’s custody.
