Pitbull runs loose close to high school

Police captured a tan female pitbull running at large in the 2300 block of Home, near Morton West high school. The dog, which had not been reported missing, was taken to A-American veterinary for safekeeping.

The owner of the at-large pitbull, 34-year-old Andrew Garcia of the 2200 block of Home, came to the Berwyn police station to obtain a release form for the pitbull. He was cited for having a dog at large and for having no city tag for the animal.
