Phone harasser overdoes control-freak thing
March 25, 2008, 4:21 PM
Police met with a young woman who reported her ex-boyfriend—a 24-year-old man from the 2300 block of Clinton—was harassing her by repeatedly telephoning her at her dad’s place. The woman said the enmity between the pair began on March 22, when she went out with some friends. On March 24, she said, the ex argued with her at the Clinton address, and informed her that “girls do not go out with their friends; only guys go out with their friends.” He emphasized these words by punching her in the face seven times. The woman refused to sign a complaint of battery. Police contacted the man and told him to lay off the phone calls.
