Perceptive fireman points out paraphernalia

Police and fire personnel responded to a fire in an apartment building in the 6600 block of 21st. A tenant told police she was watching TV and smoking in her bedroom, then went to mop the kitchen, whereupon she saw smoke coming from under the bedroom door. A fireman examining the bedroom in which the fire originated pointed out suspicious items to police: 18 small foil-wrapped packets, a yellow plastic lighter and a stainless-steel teaspoon. The woman was arrested; an investigation into possible drugs and drug paraphernalia continues.
