Pastor scares off copper thief

The pastor of St. Leonard’s church came out of the rectory in the 3300 block of Clarence in time to see a man trying to take away a 12-foot copper downspout after removing it from the church. When the priest yelled, the man dropped the spout, entered a blue Buick driven by a second man, and fled.
