September 23, 2007, 2:24 AM
Three Oak Park men ages 25, 28 and 29 reported a battery outside Lalo’s, 3011 Harlem. The men said they were waiting for a taxi in front of Lalo’s when they were approached by five men from inside the bar. One man questioned the youngest Oak Parker about his earlier conversation with a woman in the bar, then punched the young man in the nose before fleeing north on Harlem with his companions in a grey sedan, possibly an Impala. The victim described the offender as a male Hispanic, about age 60, 5’7”, with a long black ponytail, wearing all-black clothing and a necklace with a cross.
