Oak Park man charged with battery after auto accident in Berwyn

A red Volkswagen Jetta and a white Ford van were involved in an accident at Harlem and Riverside Drive. Witnesses told police they saw the van push the Jetta up onto the parkway. The complainant, a 32-year-old Cicero man, reported the other driver punched him twice in the head. Police charged Edward W. Sell, 50, of the 700 block of north Humphrey, Oak Park, with battery, as well as with making an improper turn and driving uninsured.
