Noise of spray-paint can alerts citizens to gang-graffiti application

Callers told police they heard the sound of someone shaking a can of spray paint, immediately followed by a spraying sound. in the 6800 block of 31st.  A witness then looked outside and saw a man who fled on foot through the 3100 block of Oak Park/Euclid alley; there was graffiti all over the building by which the fleeing man had been seen.  Police took nine photographs of the mess.  One witness said the offender was a 27-year-old man known as “Tito”.
