Noise impounds keep tow company busy

A grey Oldsmobile sedan, audible more than 150 feet away from the 1500 through 2100 blocks of Ridgeland, was stopped by police.  Driver Luis Velasquez, 25, of Cicero, was cited for noise and driving on a suspended license.  The car was impounded.

As it traveled from the 2200 through 1900 blocks of Ridgeland, police and everyone else within 250 feet could hear the stereo of a tan Ford Taurus.  The car was impounded; driver Giovanni Morales-Flores, 19, of the 3200 block of Cuyler, received tickets for noise and driving without a license.
4:57 PM
Police stopped and impounded a red Ford Expedition in the 1600 block of East for violating Berwyn’s noise ordinance.  Driver Adan Vega, 39, of Cicero, had a suspended license and was cited for both offenses.
7:24 PM
A silver Lincoln Navigator, registered to a Brookfield couple, was stopped for excessive noise in the 3600 block of Harlem.  The SUV was driven by Jose T. Gonzalez, 28, of the 4600 block of west 79th, Chicago.  He had no insurance and received citations for that and for noise; the Navigator was impounded.
