Berwyn Police Blotter

No seat belts, no or suspended licenses

May 13, 2008, 2:33 AM
An officer stopped a blue Pontiac Grand Prix at 16th and Ridgeland because the driver wore no seat belt.  When asked to show license and proof of insurance, driver Alejandro Bautista, 20, of Cicero, displayed an expired insurance card.  He was cited for driving unlicensed, uninsured and unseatbelted, and got an additional ticket for the vehicle’s defective windshield.

The front and back passenger of a green Pontiac Grand Am wore no seat belts, so the car got pulled over at 13th and Grove.  Driver Marco A. Reyes, 24, of the 1600 block of Wesley, had a suspended license, so the car got impounded.  Reyes was cited for driving while suspended, no seat belt, no insurance, and failure to secure a passenger under age 19.
