A dark tinted license plate cover got a green 1997 Mustang pulled over in the 6400 block of Cermak. A check of the driver’s name showed police that Jaime Vargas, 36, of Cicero, had his licensed revoked after a DUI conviction; there was also an active Cicero Police Dept. arrest warrant in his name. After being read his Miranda rights, Vargas told police he knew he should not be driving at all. The assistant state’s attorney approved a charge of felony aggravated driving with a revoked license. He was also cited for driving with a revoked license, no insurance and the tinted plate cover.

Expired registration caused police to stop a vehicle at 16th and Kenilworth. Driver Benjamin A. Parada, 21, of Cicero, had no license, just an expired learner’s permit. He was cited for both offenses.
8:31 PM
A white Mitsubishi car was stopped at 16th and Highland because it had only one headlight. Driver Ana L. Antonio, 30, of Forest Park, received tickets for improper lighting and for driving without a license.
