Berwyn Police Blotter

No belts, no license, no insurance

May 20, 2008, 8:02 PM
Police operating a safety checkpoint at Harlem and Ogden stopped a Lincoln Town Car whose driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts.  When asked to show his driver’s license and proof of insurance, driver Humberto Ramirez-Gamino, 25, of Cicero, could show police only a Mexican ID.  He was charged with driving without a license, driving uninsured, and ticketed for each person not in a seat belt.
