Police checking seatbelt compliance at Ogden and Home stopped a red Ford F150 driven by a Bridgeview man. David J. Strain, 23, had a valid Irish passport but no driver’s license, and was ticketed for both He told police he had lived in the United States for over 1-1/2 years. At the same location, Forest View resident Nicholas F. Lazzara, 25, was stopped and cited for not wearing his seatbelt, as well as for driving with a suspended license. A computer check showed he was wanted in DuPage county of a DUI-related warrant, so he was taken into custody, then turned over to a DuPage deputy.
