Missing: headlights, front plate, seat belt , license, insurance, visibility, peace & quiet

An officer stopped a Honda Civic at Highland and Cermak after hearing the car’s really loud muffler from a block away.  Driver Armando Solis, 25, of the 3700 block of west 65th, Chicago, was cited for the noise violation, for having a defective cracked windshield, and for driving unlicensed and uninsured.
1:35 AM
At Harvey and Cermak, police stopped an eastbound Honda Civic because it had only one headlight working.  Driver Juan C. Marin, 30, of Cicero, had a cancelled driver’s license.  He was charged with improper lighting, defective windshield and driving unlicensed and uninsured.
4:25 AM
Only one headlight and a missing front plate got a Chevy pickup pulled over in the 6800 block of 26th.  Driver Jose Perez, 22, of the 4600 block of south Homan, Chicago, could not produce a license or proof of insurance.  He was ticketed for improper lighting, no front plate, no insurance and no license.
1:30 PM
Passengers in the rear of a red Chevy Suburban were not wearing seatbelts, so the SUV was stopped in the 2700 block of Ridgeland.  Driver Rene C. Urquizo, 21, of the 3500 block of Elmwood, was cited for the above, having no insurance and driving on a suspended license; the Suburban was impounded.
3:41 PM
Police stopped a white Buick sedan at 32nd and East because the driver’s view was impaired by a cracked windshield.  Jose J. Soto, 33, of the 2100 block of East, was cited for the faulty windshield as well as for driving unlicensed and uninsured.
