Maywood shooting suspect sought in Berwyn

Maywood and Hillside police officers alerted the Berwyn department that they had four men in custody outside a black Pontiac Grand Prix, parked in the 2100 block of Kenilworth. The Pontiac was used in connection with a shooting in Maywood at Madison and 9th. The four men were suspected of involvement. Police believed the suspected offender might be in his girlfriend’s apartment on that block. A search of the apartment did not locate the suspect, but there were narcotics in plain view, and K-9 Officer Area sniffed and alerted to multiple locations there.
