Berwyn Police Blotter

Man with revoked license, beer in car, caught because of loud stereo

September 28, 2008, 1:40 PM
Police stopped a loud vehicle in the 6900 block of Cermak.  The driver initially told police he was “Miguel Ortiz”, with a 1984 birthdate.  Fingerprints, however, showed he was actually Alejandro Aguilar, 29, of 2406 south St. Louis, Chicago.  His license had been revoked for DUI; in addition, he had two arrest warrants out of DuPage County.  There was also one empty and one full bottle of beer on the floorboard, accessible to the driver. Aguilar was arrested and charged with felony aggravated driving on a revoked license, driving uninsured and transporting open alcohol.  The vehicle was impounded.
