Police came to a nightclub after a woman reported being battered there. The 34-year-old woman, a customer at Inclusive, 6319 Roosevelt, said a man punched her in the face. The woman, who works at a mortgage company, got into a verbal dispute with a 39-year-old man whose mortgage is held by her employer. During this dispute, she said, the man struck her in the face with his fist. When police first spoke to the man, he denied even knowing the victim. Later his story changed, and he admitted speaking to her but denied any physical altercation. 39-year-old Raymond Boston was charged with batter. Police ticketed Inclusive’s manager, Vernon D. Weaver, for failure to notify Berwyn police of a bar fight.
