Man finds intoxicated stranger inside garage-kept vehicle

A man in the 1600 block of Highland called police after he went to his garage and found a stranger inside his Dodge SUV, asleep. Police spoke with the highly intoxicated man; he was Serafin Guzman, 35, of the 1500 block of 57th, Cicero. Guzman told the officer “this is my friend’s place” and stated he had been over the previous night, drinking. The victim, however, said he had never seen Guzman before and he was not at the house the previous night. Guzman was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle.
