Man caught in Oak Park after fleeing scene of vandalism

A man from the 6300 block of Roosevelt told police another man from the same address used a piece of metal to break two windows of the victim’s GMC truck. Oak Park police stopped the fleeing man in the 1000 block of Highland/Cuyler alley. The victim positively identified Michael R. Cummings, 52. Cummings was charged with criminal damage to property.
